Chief of Staff – BetHog

Location: Remote, though New York preferred

The Mission

As the Chief of Staff at BetHog, you will serve as the primary force multiplier for the executive team. This isn’t an administrative role, it is a high-leverage strategic position designed for a future founder or COO. You will operate at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Business Development, ensuring that as we scale BetHog to become a leader in the real money gaming space.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance: Lead financial modeling, budgeting, and runway management. You’ll be the bridge between our vision and our P&L.
• Operational Excellence: Build and refine the internal systems that allow us to move fast. From hiring pipelines to internal workflows, you own the "how."
• Risk & Compliance: Navigate the evolving landscape of crypto and real-money gaming to ensure our operational footprint is secure and compliant.
• Business Development: Support the CEO in identifying partnerships, vetting new market entries, and executing high-stakes deals.
• Special Projects: Take "0 to 1" ownership of critical initiatives that don’t yet have a natural home in the organization.

The Ideal Profile

• The Experience: 3–6 years in high-intensity environments (e.g., Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, or a fast-growing Fintech/Gaming startup).
• Industry Fluency: You have a deep, functional understanding of crypto ecosystems and/or the mechanics of real-money gaming.
• The Mindset: You are a "low ego, high throughput" individual. You are comfortable shifting from a board-level financial strategy to the granular details of a vendor contract in the same hour.
• The Pace: You thrive in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup. You don’t wait for a playbook; you write it.
