We are seeking experienced Product Managers to work as project consultants in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position. You will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.

Project Summary

Career Bench evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations.

We are seeking Product Managers who can leverage their real-world experience to create evaluation rubrics and benchmark ("golden") answers related to careers in product management. Contributors will evaluate whether AI-generated career guidance accurately reflects industry expectations, product management best practices, career progression pathways, stakeholder management responsibilities, product strategy development, and leadership competencies.

Your expertise will be used to help train and evaluate AI systems that provide career advice to current and aspiring Product Managers.

Consultant Engagement Terms

This is a project-based consultant engagement. Compensation is based on successful completion and acceptance of the deliverable.

Consultants control their own schedules, provide their own equipment, and may simultaneously provide services to other organizations, subject to any applicable obligations they may have.

This engagement is structured as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and is not an employment relationship.

Responsibilities

Contributors will:

• Create high-quality benchmark ("golden") answers for product management career questions

• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics used to assess AI-generated responses

• Evaluate career guidance related to product strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, user research, product analytics, and cross-functional leadership

• Assess AI-generated recommendations for accuracy, realism, and practical applicability

• Identify missing considerations, inaccurate guidance, or unrealistic career advice

• Apply professional judgment to ensure benchmark content reflects real-world product management expectations

• Provide written rationale supporting evaluation decisions when needed

• Follow project guidelines and quality standards throughout the engagement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience preferred

• Experience owning products, product strategy, roadmaps, feature development, or go-to-market initiatives

• Familiarity with product lifecycle management, customer discovery, prioritization frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration

• Strong written communication and analytical skills

• Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively and consistently

• Experience mentoring product professionals or participating in hiring/interview processes is a plus

• Experience with AI, data annotation, rubric creation, evaluation frameworks, or prompt engineering is a plus
