Joining OneRail as a Data Analyst means becoming part of a team focused on transforming data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the business. In this role, you will partner closely with teams across Transportation, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to develop reporting, improve data visibility, and help scale our analytics capabilities.
What Will You Do:
- Manage multiple analytics and reporting priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Build a strong understanding of OneRail’s business processes, operational workflows, and key performance indicators.
- Deliver dashboards and analyses that help teams measure performance, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and turn business needs into practical reporting solutions.
- Help improve the company’s overall data maturity through better reporting, cleaner data models, stronger documentation, and scalable analytics processes.
- Communicate progress, findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Conduct ad hoc and recurring data analysis using Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Python, and other modern analytics tools to deliver actionable business insights.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports that communicate complex information in a clear and useful way.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Snowflake to support reporting, investigation, and operational analytics.
- Partner with technical and business teams to leverage Confluent-based data streams and event-driven data pipelines for reporting and analysis needs.
- Monitor data quality, investigate inconsistencies, and help improve the reliability and usability of core datasets.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations.
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions that support business goals.
- Create and maintain documentation for datasets, dashboards, metrics, and reporting logic.
- Support the design and improvement of scalable analytics processes, reporting standards, and self-service business intelligence capabilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to tooling, process improvements, and analytics best practices across departments.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
- 2–3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related data-focused role; experience in SaaS, supply chain, transportation, or other fast-paced operational environments is a plus.
- Strong experience with Power BI, including building reports, dashboards, semantic models, and reusable reporting assets
- Strong experience with Snowflake, including querying, analyzing large datasets, and supporting data modeling or reporting workflows.
- Experience working with Confluent or similar event-streaming/data streaming platforms, with an understanding of how streaming data supports analytics and operational reporting.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to write efficient, accurate, and maintainable queries.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts, KPI design, and dimensional reporting structures.
- Experience working with modern data platforms and distributed data systems.
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, predictive analysis, or advanced statistical methods is a plus.
- Experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role in a fast-paced business environment is preferred.

Work Style: Hybrid (2-3 days from the office / week)
Salary levels: 18 000 – 22 000 PLN / month (employment contract only), depending on experience.
